Google has announced that it will be integrating its Google Map Maker into Google Maps, the project started back in 2008. And the service has been suspended due to the users by adding unnecessary pieces of stuff to the maps.
To provide a better experience for users worldwide, Google Map Maker community edited and moderated millions of features to improve the Google Map. To make it easier for all Google Maps Users to contribute changes to map while at home or on the go.
These changes happened have empowered many users to update the places that they concern about, view status of their edits, and limiting other users’ edits.
Google want to tell their users worldwide that effective today, that they will now transfer the features from Google Map Maker to Google Maps on March 17 and it will still offer a number of editing features.
On March 2017, Google Map continues to release new features to ensure the users to do most of the things accustomed by Map Maker. And allow the Google to focus on providing the best editing and moderation experience within Google Map on the desktop and on mobile.
Starting today edits made on Google maps will no longer be ready (to be used) for not given to overdoing on Mapmaker. This will let us free smooth-moving current our attempts, speeding up the time for a getting ready to get made public.
