Halfbrick Studios has announced that its branded game Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots, from the upcoming Dreamworks film, is now available for iPhone.
Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots, which is in fact a direct sequel to the original Fruit Ninja, can be controlled by slicing the fruit that comes up on the screen by swiping your finger on them. The game has now two modes, Desperado and Bandito.
Desperado, which is essentially the classic game mode in the original game, features the same three life limit and bomb avoidance fun. Gamers have to slice the magic bean that are thrown from time to time, which results on big bonuses, such as 25 points score or even an extra life.
The new mode called Bandito, which is basically a challenge mode, features four challenges that will be randomly selected. The challenges are a mix of all-out slashing onslaughts to more precise obstacles such as cracking open a tough coconut to picking fruit out of swarms of bombs. The scores after each challenge will be based on how many fruits sliced, the accuracy of the slices, and the initial reflex time.
The Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots iPhone version is available for $0.99.
