Perth-based SEO firm Oracle Digital has announced its newest SEO strategies to combat the adverse effects of the latest Google Penguin’s update.
With the Google Penguin update, the company advices online businesses that they should plan to adjust accordingly in order to minimize its unfavorable effects and their page rankings are not affected negatively and this can be done by using the most efficient and ethical SEO practices.
The Google Penguin update, which was meant to minimize spamming, came out after stating by industry sources that the company will be penalizing the use of over-optimization techniques. But it was later explained that the new development was not intended to penalize over-optimization but to eliminate the webspam.
“We’re launching an important algorithm change targeted at webspam. The change will decrease rankings for sites that we believe are violating Google’s quality guidelines. We’ve always targeted webspam in our rankings, and this algorithm represents another improvement in our efforts to reduce webspam and promote high quality content”, commented Matt Cutts, Head of Google’s Webspam Team and a software engineer of the company.
However, Oracle Digital claimed that though the update was not designed for penalty purposes or for eliminating spam, still the affects are practically the same to the virtual world. The company suggested that online businesses must comply all the regulations of the new algorithm by using the proper SEO techniques and strategies.
“What the new Google Penguin algorithm requires is the use of white hat SEO techniques and not those which use keyword stuffing, doorway pages and other black hat strategies. So, in order to use this update to one’s advantage – one must be able to use efficient SEO strategies that are ethical as well. And this is what we are offering to those who are in need of our services”, explained Clint Maher, Director of Operations of Oracle Digital.
