Epson Releases New iProjection iPhone App

Epson has released a new iProjection iOS app that allows users to present content wirelessly from iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

The iProjection app, which works with any Espon wireless projector, enables users to load documents in the app, and display photos from the “Photo” library as well, thus, allowing mobile professionals and educators the freedom to present content wirelessly with ease.

“As tablet and smart phone popularity continues to grow, both business users and teachers are in need of an intuitive and easy-to-use application that will allow them to leverage content from their Apple iOS devices and project it wirelessly. Whether presenting on the road or in the classroom, iProjection expands iOS device’s wireless capabilities for collaboration with larger than life images on wireless Epson projectors,” said Brian Savarese, product manager, Epson America, Inc.

The Epson iProjection app, which works with devices running iOS 4.2 or later, is compatible with applications like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Apple’s Keynote, plus JPEG and PNG image files as well as PDF documents. It also supports cloud services such as Dropbox and various email applications such as Gmail.

The iProjection app is free to download in the iTunes App Store.
