Verizon Releases BlackBerry Curve 9370 for $100

Verizon Wireless has officially announced the availability of the BlackBerry Curve 9370 for about $100 on a new, two-year contract and a rebate.

The BlackBerry Curve 9370, which features both CDMA and GSM radios making the first World Phone Curve model, supports for near-field communication (NFC) and packs 5-megapixel camera with digital zoom and flash.

Operating on the BlackBerry 7 OS, the new device boasts a 2.44-inch transmissive HVGA TFT LCD screen with a resolution of up to 480 x 360p, an 800MHz processor along with 512MB RAM and a lowly 1GB of internal storage that is supported by external memory offered by means of a 2GB microSD card, which can be extended up to 32GB of storage capacity.

The handset also features 1000mAh lithium-ion battery that claims to offer talk time of up to 330 minutes or standby time of approximately 14.5 days. The BlackBerry Curve 9370 can be grabbed in the U.S. through Verizon’s retail outlets as well as at its official website for $99.99 with a two-year agreement and mail-in rebate charges.
